Paper Stitching

The Idea of mixed media using thread, paper, paint, fabric, glue and other materials Is not new. Stepping outside of one type of creative pathway to combine them takes thought and realization of all the possibilities! Paper Stitching was formed as a way to help beginners who are Interested In sewing, embroidery, and painting to combine the Interests and create without pressure to produce an extravagant product. While this Is a beginner project which practices hand eye coordination, the concepts can be taken and easily expounded upon.

Printing on thick paper and poking holes In the paper to allow for ease of stitching creates a fun project Incorporating multiple skills.
